Job Role: A senior quality control professional with expertise in inspection, testing, and quality assurance for castings and metal components is required. This person must have a strong background in ensuring compliance with quality standards and coordinating with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspection (Internal & External):
    • Visual Inspection
    • Dimensional Inspection
    • Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
    • Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
    • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Preparation and review of technical reports (internal and external)
  • Coordination & Communication:
    • Liaising with external agencies and on-site experts
    • Ensuring smooth execution of inspections as per schedule and client requirements
  • Quality Assurance Plans (QAP):
    • Thorough understanding and execution of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project specifications
  • Internal Testing & Lab Analysis:
    • Daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Experts
    • Chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis)
    • Mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing
  • Technical Collaboration:
    • Technical coordination with NABL-accredited laboratories
    • Ensuring adherence to national/international testing standards
  • Heat Treatment Process:
    • Supervision and quality checks during heat treatment of castings
  • Measuring Instruments & Calibration:
    • Proficient in handling, usage, and calibration of precision measuring tools and gauges

This role requires a detail-oriented and skilled professional who can work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to ensure high-quality results in a fast-paced production setting.
