API Tester Role

We are seeking an experienced API Tester to join our team in Pune/Nagpur. This role involves testing and validating APIs to ensure they meet business service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in load testing, performance testing, and experience with LoadRunner.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to negotiate with technical SMEs. Additionally, the ability to optimize APIs for improved performance and recommend infrastructure improvements is highly desirable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) implementation, Git, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with developing and testing high-performing APIs.
  • Technical knowledge of Azure and hosting/deployment processes.
  • Ability to work with Plotly library structure and present data graphically.
  • Knowledge of Databricks/database schema.

Skill Set Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with FAST API caching mechanism using Redis and in-memory technology.
  • Understanding of Swagger UI for API endpoint management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively.
