Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Wireless Network Professional to lead the implementation and configuration of Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers and other Cisco wireless infrastructure components.

This position requires a deep understanding of wireless network design, implementation, and migration, as well as hands-on experience with RF design, including predictive surveys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation & Configuration: Manage the installation and setup of Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers and other Cisco wireless infrastructure components.
  • Migration: Develop and execute complex wireless network migration projects, including migrations from legacy systems such as Aruba to Cisco and Cisco AirOS to Catalyst.
  • RF Design: Conduct RF design activities, including predictive surveys, as well as pre-deployment and post-deployment surveys to ensure optimal wireless coverage and performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Technology Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies, including a fundamental understanding of WiFi 6/6E.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in wireless networking is required.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proven experience with the implementation and configuration of Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers.
    • Strong experience in network migration projects (e.g., Aruba to Cisco, AirOS to Catalyst).
    • Hands-on experience with RF design, including predictive surveys.
  • Certifications & Knowledge (Good to have):
    • Knowledge of DNAC (Cisco DNA Center), SDA (Software-Defined Access), and Cisco Meraki is highly desirable.
Location:

On-site work in Bengaluru is mandatory.
