Expert in VMware administration sought to lead technical support for our company’s virtual infrastructure. This key role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with virtual machines, as well as performing maintenance tasks such as patching and upgrading VMware software.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of experience in VMware administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of VMware architecture and configuration, as well as experience with Veeam Backup and Replication technologies.

We are looking for an individual who can work collaboratively with L1 resources to resolve issues and document knowledge and procedures. Participation in on-call rotation and providing 24/7 support is also essential.

Responsibilities
  • L2 Technical Support for VMware Infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Complex Issues with Virtual Machines
  • Maintenance Tasks Such as Patching and Upgrading VMware Software
  • Collaboration with L1 Resources to Resolve Issues
  • Documentation of Knowledge and Procedures
  • Participation in On-Call Rotation and Providing 24/7 Support
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding of VMware Architecture and Configuration
  • Experience with Veeam Backup and Replication Technologies
  • Knowledge of SAN/NAS Storage Infrastructure Configuration
  • Experience with HCI Technologies
  • VMware Certifications (VCP, VCIX, or VCAP) Preferred
