About the Role


ZEN MODULAR SYSTEMS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, a leading electrical/electronic manufacturing company, seeks an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to oversee space planning, interior design projects, and construction drawings in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will manage furniture installations, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely project completion.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and manage project schedules for furniture production and installations.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and designs, identifying potential cost savings measures and scheduling issues.
  • Collaborate with the estimator to prepare project budgets and general conditions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely shop drawings, approvals, and change orders.
  • Monitor and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
  • Communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and stakeholders, addressing errors, discrepancies, or omissions in design drawings.
  • Expedite CCN CO costs, maintain current CO logs, and ensure completion of independent testing and inspections.
  • Issue monthly progress draws and invoicing to consultants and clients, including final hold backs.
  • Maintain good production standards, quality control, and labor, material, and equipment expenses.
  • Prepare monthly cost forecasting summaries and project deficiency lists.
  • Ensure accuracy in pre-project estimation, costing, and negotiation feedback.
  • Monitor and control project profitability through rate analysis and material and cost negotiations.

Requirements


  • Strong space planning and interior design skills.
  • Knowledge of BOQ, billing, reconciliation, estimating quantities for interior scope of works.
  • Project management expertise and experience in creating construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with furniture design and installations.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
