Job Overview
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains the highest standards of compliance.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to track and evaluate regulatory updates, thereby minimizing risks and maximizing compliance.
- Provide expert guidance on RBI and SEBI regulations, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior leadership and board committees, fostering open communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, assess their impact on policies and procedures, and disseminate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI and SEBI guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Prepare and submit periodic returns to regulatory bodies, demonstrating transparency and accountability.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in banking or NBFC sector.
- Strong understanding of RBI and SEBI regulations, coupled with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in handling audits, inspections, and board-level presentations is highly desirable.
Preferred Attributes:
- Certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or related areas.
- Experience in policy drafting and governance is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance systems and automation tools is an asset.
