Packaging Development Role

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Development Professional to lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative packaging solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product development from concept to completion, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. They will also have the ability to approve production online, re-cost existing items to validate cost, and interact with overseas teams on a proactive basis for any new product development projects.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups to streamline the product development process. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing product development schedules, setting realistic performance standards, and understanding customer needs to define short- and long-term product development strategies.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Design and development of packaging solutions
  • Supplier coordination and final validation testing
  • Ensuring compliance with design control procedures and company procedures
  • Setting performance expectations and collaborating with cross-functional groups
  • Preparing product development schedules and defining short- and long-term product development strategy


The requirements for this role include:
  • Ability to approve production online
  • Re-costing existing items to validate cost
  • Interaction with overseas teams on a proactive basis for any NPD projects
  • Knowledge of design control procedures and company procedures
  • Experience working with cross-functional groups


Preferred qualifications for this role include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging development
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
