Job Title: Data Engineering and Architecture Expert

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Technology Leader to spearhead our Snowflake, DBT, and SQL initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Snowflake, DBT, and SQL, with a strong background in Azure and DBT being an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in SQL and 3-5 years of experience in Snowflake is required.
  • Experience with SnowFlake data warehouse and data ingestion into SnowFlake using Snowpipe and DBT is essential.
  • The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines for analytics and reporting using DBT models, transformations, and SQL code.
  • A good understanding of SnowFlake architecture and processing is crucial.
  • Hands-on experience in Snowflake Cloud Development and expertise in writing complicated SQLs, analyzing query performance, query tuning, database indexes partitions, and stored procedure development are necessary.
  • The candidate will be responsible for implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Python and Snowflakes Snow SQL.
  • Querying Snowflake using SQL and having a strong knowledge of SQL language and data warehousing concepts are essential.
  • Experience with technologies such as SQL Server 2008, SSIS, and stored procedures is desirable.
  • Designing database tables and structures, creating views, functions, and stored procedures, writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications, and maintaining data quality and overseeing database security are key responsibilities.
  • The successful candidate will have exceptional experience developing codes, testing for quality assurance, administering RDBMS, and monitoring of database.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with relational databases and database administration (indexes, optimization, etc.) are necessary.
  • Querying Snowflake using SQL, experience with SQL and PLSQL, SQL query tuning, database performance tuning, and data warehousing concepts are essential.
  • Knowledge of DBT and Azure (ADF) is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient data pipelines using DBT models, transformations, and SQL code.
  • Design and develop robust database structures, including views, functions, and stored procedures.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
  • Maintain data quality and oversee database security.
  • Administer RDBMS and monitor database performance.
Requirements:
