Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team in the Collections Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and overseeing the activities of the collections department.
Key responsibilities include managing and undertaking collections process for debts that have been assigned, regularly tracking the portfolio for specific buckets for the assigned area, tracking and controlling delinquency of the area, bucket-wise and DPD wise, and focusing on non-starters.
Additional responsibilities include allocating and achieving targets from agencies/in-house teams, regularly following up with default customers, ensuring adherence to collection process and legal guidelines, tracing out absconded default customers and initiating recovery process, recommending legal actions for non-recoverable cases, and following up with the legal team for closure of cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Post-graduation in a related field is preferred, along with 2-5 years of experience in collections. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
