Expert Software Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying fit-for-purpose software solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, testing, and deploying software solutions on BASE24 EPS;
- Configuring BASE24 EPS modules as per requirements;
- Preparing migration scripts;
- Configuring interchange specifications like VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, including periodical mandates, updates, and testing;
- Customizing and configuring interfaces, including testing and fixing issues;
- Configuring terminals, ATMs, and interfaces;
- Configuring and testing various host systems;
- Configuring various security keys for interchanges, terminals, cards, and PVKs;
- Integrating BASE24 EPS with HSMs;
- Generating required MIS/reports as per business requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Switch systems;
- Hands-on experience on Base24 eps;
- Demonstratable experience in configuration, scripting, use of SDK;
- Experience/understanding on Australian and scheme compliance requirements;
- Experience integrating Base24 with other bank systems;
- Strong analytical/problem-solving, debugging, testing skills, including use of Test Simulators;
- Programming experience in C++ and Java;
- Experience with Linux and VMware;
- Cloud system experience (Azure, AWS) is preferable;
- ISO 8583 and XML specification knowledge/experience;
- Implementation and certification of interchanges like VISA, MasterCard, Amex, and JCB;
- Configuration of security keys for interchanges, terminals, and host systems;
- Strong time management skills and written/verbal communication;
- An open mindset and ability to innovate and influence.
