Lead Piping Layout Engineer Position

The Lead Piping Layout Engineer is a senior technical expert responsible for leading the project and providing advanced technical guidance for the optimum layout and piping-related engineering activities mainly in the topside facilities for FPSO/FLNG or offshore facilities.

This role involves managing multiple priorities, working effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focal point for Topside Piping discipline in Project Team and Communicate with Clients.
  • Update and Maintain EPCI and O & M Phase Lesson Learnt database
  • Ensure all engineering documents are prepared and developed in accordance with relevant design code, standard, clients project specification and quality management system.
  • Ensure Compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide engineering expertise and support to form the optimum and competitive efficient, safe and environmentally compliant for Piping and utility system.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years working experience with 7 years experience in Oil & Gas industries (FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor).
  • Minimum 1 FPSO / FLNG / Offshore FEED/EPCI Project experience.

  • Leadership skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
