Job Title: Polarion Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation and customization of Polarion ALM solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of systems engineering principles, V-model methodologies, and experience working with Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and tailor Polarion ALM to support project-specific requirements, test planning, validation, release, and documentation workflows.
  • Design and implement processes, workflows, traceability matrices, and custom templates aligned with industry standards.
  • Lead the rollout of Polarion solutions across international teams, including training, documentation, and end-user support.
  • Develop and maintain test concepts, oversee test operations, and provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Polarion tool-related issues.
  • Manage safety-relevant documentation and ensure regulatory traceability for compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Polarion Expertise (Mandatory)
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Polarion configuration, workflow implementation, and process customization.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and manage project templates, custom fields, scripts, permissions, and dashboards.
    • Experience integrating Polarion with tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, Doors, Teamcenter, or other ALM/PLM systems.
  • Domain Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and V-model methodologies.
    • Experience working in the automotive and/or battery system development sectors is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
  • Agile & Communication Skills:
    • Proven experience in Agile teams, including participation in PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, and cross-team coordination.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to train, support, and mentor international teams.
