Key Role: Train Control Systems Engineer

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead the development and implementation of advanced train control systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and software design, as well as excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

This role requires a thorough understanding of railway signaling systems, safety standards, and software simulation tools. Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing is also beneficial.

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced train control systems that ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and passenger safety.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other rail operations and infrastructure.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate technical concepts and ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in train control systems, software design, and development.
  • Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of railway safety regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 61508).
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload effectively.
