Senior Network Security Architect

Senior Network Security Engineers are sought after to lead the design and implementation of secure network infrastructures. This position entails working on infrastructure operations, problem management, IT solution design, security operations center services, and IT security technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Infrastructure Operations: Ensure compliance with customer SLAs for 2nd and 3rd-level support. Identify, assess, and implement solutions to infrastructure and security incidents using tools and standards, and make proactive recommendations.
- Problem Management: Lead problem management as an escalation point, performing regular analysis and making recommendations for infrastructure improvements. Plan changes to IT solutions and identify and mitigate risks during implementation.
- IT Solution Design: Design and integrate IT solutions based on service design specifications, ensuring creation and continuous revision of documentation for implemented services.
- Security Operations Center: Contribute to technological and procedural development in the security operations center services.
- IT Security Technologies: Implement and operate IT security technologies.
- Firewall Management: Experience with deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting FortiGate and Cisco Firepower/ASA firewalls is required.
- Centralized Management: Knowledge of Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, and Cisco FMC is beneficial.
- Security Policy Implementation: Define, enforce, and optimize firewall rules and security policies according to industry best practices.
- Network Security Architecture: Support the design and implementation of secure network architectures.
- Upgrades & Patch Management: Perform firmware upgrades, security patching, and version updates for firewalls in a controlled and compliant manner.
- VPN & Remote Access: Configure and manage Site-to-Site VPNs, SSL VPNs, and IPSec tunnels for secure remote connectivity.
- Integration & Automation: Integrate firewalls with security tools, SIEM solutions, and automation frameworks to enhance visibility and incident response.
- Incident Response: Investigate and resolve firewall-related security incidents and network connectivity issues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation for firewall configurations, rule sets, change management logs, and compliance reports.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure alignment of firewall configurations with organizational security policies and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS, and support internal/external audits as needed.
- Requirements: Minimum 3 years of work experience with network and security technologies and a bachelor's degree in technology or computer science. Professional Level and/or expert level certification is required.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, independent, structured, reliable work ethic, hands-on mentality, quick perception, creativity, and good communication skills are essential.
