Cloud Security Architect Role

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing secure private cloud environments. Your primary focus will be on managing infrastructure security across clusters, applications, and networking layers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security controls for private cloud infrastructure to ensure robust and compliant cloud security ecosystems.
  • Understand and manage network, firewall, database, and endpoint security to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Integrate security best practices into development activities and workloads to ensure seamless deployment and operation of cloud environments.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents in private cloud environments to minimize downtime and data breaches.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud environments from cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in securing private cloud infrastructure and applications, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with development tools integration security practices, including container security tools and vulnerability scanning.
  • Relevant cloud security certifications, such as GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer or CISSP.
  • Educational qualifications: preferably a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Good To Have:

  • Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and relevant cloud security certifications.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and Sentinel for policy enforcement.
  • Ability to integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Secure Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and related workloads.
