Cloud Security Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to fill a key role in our organization.

  • Developing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure using GCP services is essential for this position.
  • Configuring public cloud native security tooling and capabilities with a focus on Google Cloud Organizational policies/constraints is crucial for ensuring data security.
  • Implementing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) using 3rd party tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard is necessary for maintaining a secure cloud environment.
  • Designing and configuring event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure and Google Cloud requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles.
  • Ensuring compliance with DevOps processes and workflows is vital for successful cloud adoption.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure technical architecture is essential for delivering secure cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, particularly focused on GCP environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the Shared Responsibility Model and security risks inherent in hosting cloud-based applications and data.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills are required for success in this role.
