Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our organization as a Quality Assurance professional. As a Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services meets the highest standards.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality systems, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also lead internal audits, coordinate external audits and inspections, and oversee the development and implementation of quality training programs.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Leveraging business partnerships to drive continuous improvement in product quality
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports related to quality management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in quality assurance and management, with experience in developing and implementing quality systems, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should have knowledge of industry regulations and standards, such as GMP, ISO 9001, and ICH Q8-10.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as quality assurance or a related science, and at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and management. You should also have certification in a quality-related field, such as CQA or CMQ/OE.

Responsibilities:

Manage and improve departmental operational performance, maintain adherence to SOPs, regulatory authorities, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and external customers. Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with GMP, company SOPs, and Health and Safety policies.

Oversee investigations of all non-conformances (deviations, complaint etc.). Develop batch Release and Reject system to ensure quality product is released to the market. Work across all disciplines (e.g. manufacturing, warehouse & QC, etc.) to ensure that the Company maintains a state of readiness for inspection by regulatory agencies.

Keep abreast of changes to quality regulations and guidelines, advising the management team of any business implications of these changes. Lead, manage, and ensure proper training to any relevant change management programs throughout the company.
