Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing database programs to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Designing new database programs that meet organizational data storage needs while adhering to industry standards.
  • Monitoring databases and related systems to prevent potential issues and optimize performance.
  • Writing support programs and scripts to increase data storage capacity and improve overall system performance.
  • Reviewing database reports, user reports, and system information to identify areas for improvement.
  • Performing debugging procedures on database scripts and programs to resolve conflicts.
  • Mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance to ensure knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in database engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Extensive experience with database technologies and architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and data security principles.
