Senior Data Solutions Specialist

About the Role
  • Play a key role in building and maintaining robust data infrastructure that processes large-scale datasets efficiently.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of high-volume pipelines, collaborate with engineers across teams, and ensure our platform remains scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.

As a Senior Data Solutions Specialist, you will work on systems handling high-throughput data ingestion, processing, and enrichment - serving as the backbone for our Customer Data Platform (CDP). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong data engineering background ready to take on broader responsibilities and shape the evolution of CDP platform.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark, Scala, and cloud-native services.
  • Improve performance and reliability of real-time and batch data processing systems.
  • Strong background in distributed data processing, software engineering of data services, and/or data stores.
  • Contribute to platform features supporting key customer-facing products such as identity resolution, audience segmentation, and real-time personalization.

Closely work with senior engineers to execute architectural decisions and implementation plans. Collaborate across product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact, customer-facing capabilities. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code meeting operational standards.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of industry experience in backend or data engineering roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Scala, Java, or similar language.
  • Solid experience with Apache Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks.

Experience working with Trino, Snowflake, Delta Lake, and comfortable handling e-commerce scale datasets. Working knowledge of batch and stream processing architectures. Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in production. Familiarity with AWS and tools like Parquet, Delta Lake, or Kafka. Comfortable operating in a CI/CD environment with infrastructure-as-code and observability tools. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
