Data Assessment and Planning:
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess existing data structures and determine migration requirements.
Develop comprehensive data migration plans, including mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
Migration Execution:
Execute end-to-end data migration processes, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data.
Utilize tools such as Scribe for efficient and secure data transfer between systems.
Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation as part of the migration process.
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Development:
Design and implement ETL processes to facilitate data movement between various systems.
Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Data Mapping and Transformation:
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to create data mapping and transformation rules.
Implement data transformations to meet target system requirements.
Data Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute data quality checks to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or errors during migration.
Implement best practices for maintaining data quality and accuracy.
Documentation:
Document migration processes, data mappings, and transformation rules.
Provide training and documentation for end-users on data migration-related processes.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators, and business analysts, to ensure successful data migration.
Provide support during testing, troubleshooting, and post-migration activities.
