We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of our investment portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting.
- Coordinate with brokers and custodians to ensure timely and accurate trade execution across multiple asset classes.
- Oversee the settlement of trades, cash movements, and corporate actions, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Perform daily/weekly reconciliations of accounts, including cash and position reconciliations with custodians and prime brokers.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of transactions, processes, and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Liaise with third-party service providers to ensure operational efficiency and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or professional qualifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or a related field with an Asset Management Company or Wealth Manager or Broker / Dealer.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with portfolio management systems, Microsoft Excel, and investment platforms.
