Job Role:

Vendor Manager Inventory / Implant Inventory Specialist (Supply Chain)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct vendor management analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and monitor procurement trends.
  • Lead strategic negotiations with manufacturers and vendors to establish best-in-class pricing and service standards.
  • Develop and maintain group-wide price agreements for high-value medical supplies, ensuring timely receipt of credit notes and Trade Offer Discounts.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance, delivery, and compliance in inventory operations.
  • Implement and operate inventory management systems across all hospital units, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Monitor and audit standard operating procedures related to inventory management.
  • Track and reconcile inventory stock levels to prevent discrepancies and losses.
  • Develop brand recommendations based on clinical, financial, and operational inputs, measuring resultant cost savings and adherence to statutory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Healthcare Management.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Proven experience in vendor negotiations, compliance, and SOP implementation, with a strong understanding of healthcare procurement dynamics and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyze spend and inventory data.
  • Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong compliance and audit acumen, proficient in ERP systems and inventory management tools.
