Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, and AWS services. You should be proficient in designing scalable serverless applications and confident in writing maintainable tests.

This role involves building backend services using NodeJS/TypeScript, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in code reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using NodeJS/TypeScript.
  • Design and implement robust AWS Serverless architectures with Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Write unit tests using Vitest to ensure code reliability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver successful projects.
  • Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and NodeJS.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Vitest.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Nice To Have:
  • Knowledge of other AWS services such as S3, CloudWatch, and Step Functions.
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud applications.
