Job Title: Climate Systems Specialist

Overview:

As a Climate Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative HVAC solutions for various projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire design process, from initial load calculations to final system commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:


  • •Design climate control systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.

  • •Perform heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, and airflow analysis using specialized software.

  • •Select and size HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.) based on project requirements.

  • •Develop ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using industry-standard tools like AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

  • •Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and industry standards such as ASHRAE and SMACNA.

  • •Optimize HVAC systems for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

  • •Coordinate with cross-functional teams including MEP engineers, architects, and contractors for system integration.

  • •Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project approvals.

  • •Assist in tendering, cost estimation, and bid evaluations for HVAC systems.

  • •Support project execution by providing technical guidance during installation and commissioning.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • •5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.

  • •Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD).

  • •Strong knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles.

  • •Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes.

  • •Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design.

  • •Ability to troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues.

  • •Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • •Certification in HVAC design (ASHRAE, LEED AP, or similar).

  • •Experience working on international projects.

  • •Knowledge of CFD analysis, thermal modeling, and energy simulation tools.
