Job Description

As a Canadian Accounting and Taxation professional, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial statements in accordance with ASPE or IFRS. Your duties will include performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, as well as filing GST/HST, payroll remittances, corporate tax (T2), and other regulatory returns.

Liaising with external auditors, CRA, and other regulatory bodies is also a key aspect of this role. You will analyze financial data to support budgeting and forecasting, while ensuring full compliance with Canadian accounting and tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with ASPE or IFRS.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • File GST/HST, payroll remittances, corporate tax (T2), and other regulatory returns.
  • Liaise with external auditors, CRA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Analyze financial data to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure full compliance with Canadian accounting and tax laws.
Qualifications & Skills:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • CA or CA Intern Fresher can apply.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Canadian accounting or taxation preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting and tax software such as Profile, TaxCycle, CaseWare, or Cantax.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian tax rules and filing procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
