Job Overview

The Senior Quality Engineer position at Mitra AI involves ensuring the quality and efficiency of procurement processes using the SAP platform for a Banking client. This role requires hands-on experience in testing SAP functionalities and related features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Understanding: Ability to comprehend requirements and technical reference documents, and escalate any issues or gaps during the project's initial stage.
  • Test Planning: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP implementations, and update them accordingly.
  • End-to-End Testing: Ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing of SAP configurations and business processes to verify their alignment with business requirements.
  • Integration Validation: Validate the integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.
  • Defect Management: Ability to report test results to leads, defect reporting, logging, and managing defects in defect-tracking tools (Jira).
  • Troubleshooting: Understand, troubleshoot, and differentiate defects, data issues, and requirement gaps.
  • Communication: Effective communication with the team, leadership, internal, and external customers covering all aspects of team needs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with business users and technical teams to validate defect fixes and re-test impacted areas.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Assist business users during UAT and other testing phases by providing support and feedback for improvement.
Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Requirements:
  • Proven experience in SAP testing.
  • Knowledge of SAP upgrades and new feature testing.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in Automation of SAP solutions is a plus point.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD implementation.
  • Good analytical skills, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to self-learn and grasp knowledge quickly.
  • Experience in banking/fintech applications testing.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in the quality assurance industry, along with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • 3+ years of hands-on testing experience with SAP Solutions and other banking applications.
  • Certification in SAP or ISTQB is a plus point.
