Overview :

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and regression testing of OpenText solutions, including OpenText Content Server, Archive Center, Workflow, Metadata Management, and more.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans for OpenText modules to ensure quality and functionality of applications.
• Collaborate with developers, administrators, and business analysts to understand requirements and create comprehensive test strategies.
• Identify, document, and report defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, ALM) and track progress.
• Conduct performance and load testing of OpenText applications to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Test and validate OpenText PowerDocs (Template Development) and Smart UI Configuration solutions.
• Review OpenText Records Management, Directory Services, and other components for compliance with established requirements.
• Assist in the integration and testing of OpenText solutions with SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors).
• Work closely with the OpenText Administration and Configuration teams to validate and ensure seamless deployments.
• Generate and maintain detailed test reports and track all testing phases.
• Stay current with the latest updates, patches, and best practices related to OpenText products and solutions.

Skills & Qualifications :

Required:

• OpenText Content Server Administration – Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience in administering and testing OpenText Content Server solutions.
• OpenText PowerDocs (Template Development) – Expert level in developing templates using OpenText PowerDocs.
• OpenText Metadata Management – Expert-level understanding and hands-on experience in testing metadata management.
• OpenText Web Reports – Expert-level experience in creating and testing reports in OpenText Web Reports.
• Template Design – Intermediate experience in template design and configuration within OpenText solutions.
• OpenText Users/Groups & Permissions Model – Intermediate knowledge of managing user roles, groups, and permissions in OpenText.
• OpenText Workflow Development – Intermediate experience in designing and testing workflows in OpenText solutions.

Desirable:

• OpenText Directory Services Administration – Knowledge of administration and integration of OpenText Directory Services.
• OpenText Archive Center Administration – Knowledge of OpenText Archive Center administration and related testing tasks.
• OpenText Records Management – Knowledge of OpenText Records Management features, workflows, and configurations.
• OpenText Smart UI Configuration – Knowledge of configuring and testing OpenText Smart UI.
• Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors – Knowledge and experience with Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors integration.
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and its integration with OpenText products.

General Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in testing and quality assurance, particularly in enterprise content management (ECM) solutions.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and experience with test management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OpenText certifications (e.g., OpenText Content Server or Records Management certifications) will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with integration of OpenText solutions with third-party systems, particularly SAP products.
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python) is a plus.
