Financial Accounting and Reporting Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Product Control team, where you will play a key role in driving end-to-end accounting, management reporting, and financial/tax reporting processes.

  • P&L Analysis and Risk Assessment: Own product profit and loss analysis, risk assessment, and financial accounting/reporting, including month-end close and statutory reporting.
  • Audit Compliance: Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with finance control standards.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives across reporting functions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of product controllers, fostering independence and accountability.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver on key projects and support strategic initiatives within finance and product control.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Professional Qualification: Qualified CA, CFA, or MBA with 10–13 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • IFRS Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements, particularly those applicable to the banking industry.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in product control, finance control, investment banking middle office, financial services, equity research, or stockbroking.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to build and mentor teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
