Job Description

As a Research Specialist, you will be part of our Global Investment Research team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive research support to our equity analysts, including company and industry analysis, financial modeling, valuations, sector updates, business intelligence, and custom research work.

You will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that inform investment decisions. You will also be responsible for maintaining industry databases, conducting industry and company analysis, and building detailed financial models with the ability to build business drivers, incorporating M&A transactions and valuation analysis.

Additionally, you will carry out studies on sector trends, regulatory changes, and emerging themes. You will also provide need-based analysis on unassigned stocks, including screens to monitor and flag potential stock ideas.

Furthermore, you will provide quality data and analysis on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors. You will be a strong subject matter expert in your assigned sub-sector and keep abreast of trends and developments across geographies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment research
  • Understanding of financial statements, ratios, and valuation concepts
  • Prior experience with Asia/Europe/US/Global equities is preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical thought process
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Database skills in Bloomberg, TR Eikon, FactSet, and other financial databases
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
