Job Opportunity: Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our organization.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management processes within the organization.
  • Assess the adequacy of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Audit Execution: Execute robust Internal Audit engagements and testing and monitoring activities in line with the annual Internal Audit program.
  2. Control Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify deficiencies or weaknesses in processes, systems, or practices.
  3. Audit Planning: Prepare audit engagement plans tailored to the specific risks and objectives of each audit engagement.
  4. Reporting & Communication: Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for presentation to management and stakeholders.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit recommendations.
  6. Follow-up & Resolution: Monitor and track the status of audit findings and management responses to ensure timely resolution and closure.
  7. Team Support & Guidance: Provide support and guidance to colleagues within the Internal Audit team and across the organization on risk management and control-related matters.
  8. Special Project & Initiative: Participate in special projects, investigations, or initiatives as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Twelve months plus of progressive Internal Audit experience.
  • Strong understanding of Internal Audit, internal control concepts, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate audit findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to upholding professional standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
