Job Title: Nursing Educator

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Educator to join our Academics team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and conducting classroom and practical sessions for students as allotted in the timetable.

  • Oversee students' lab and clinical work, including grading coursework and evaluating clinical lab performance.
  • Mentor and counsel students for job placements.
  • Stay up-to-date with clinical trends by attending conferences, webinars, seminars, and guest sessions, and keep students informed of the same.
  • Maintain lab inventory and medical equipment for training, and impart appropriate knowledge.
  • Prepare students for placement interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach and train nursing students through classroom and hands-on training sessions.
  2. Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and academic requirements.
  3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement new courses and programs.
  5. Contribute to the development of educational resources and materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: BSc Nursing preferred, or GNM with Post BSc nursing or GNM experience.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of clinical experience working in medical-surgical nursing departments as staff nurses or ICU and Emergency departments of hospitals.
  • Skills: Excellent professional knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills.
