Financial Operations Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist in financial operations. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and verify day-to-day financial transactions
  • Assist in preparing financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and organizing data
  • Maintain accurate financial trackers and spreadsheets
  • Provide timely and concise reports and updates to stakeholders
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable entries
  • Support month-end closing activities like reconciliations and documentation
  • Prepare data for tax filings and audits when needed
  • Create dashboards, presentations, and summaries for internal use
Requirements:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
