Job Title: Storage Expert

As a skilled storage expert, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments. This includes collaborating with customer support teams, participating in problem-solving and troubleshooting, supporting design and operation, workflow, and issue resolution for storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customer support teams
  • Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Support design and operation of storage infrastructure
  • Responsible for tracking existing storage usage trending and capacity planning
  • Maintain storage documentation, procedures, and reporting
  • Provide Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration
  • Storage Allocations to server infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hitachi Technical certification is desirable
