About the Job

This role requires a strong programme finance management background, sufficient knowledge of enterprise risk management, and advanced analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have strong team-building, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and think creatively.

The Programme Management Analyst promotes a collaborative, client-oriented approach consistent with UNDP rules and regulations and works closely with Management, Programme, Operations, and other Teams in the CO, Regional Hub, and Regional Bureau.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure strategic oversight of programme planning, monitoring, and reporting of development initiatives.
  • Coordinate programme management, oversight, and compliance activities within the Country Office.
  • Develop and implement effective programme management instruments, including project design, pre-appraisal, quality assurance reviews, and monitoring and evaluation.
  • Support programme teams on effective use of tools and methodologies for resource planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and advice on programme finance management, enterprise risk management, and programme performance analysis.
  • Facilitate interaction between auditors and projects and ensure timely submission of all audit requirements, including reports.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Project Management, International Development, Public Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in programme management, programme oversight, resource management, financial management services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in programme/project management or programme finance and operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP platforms (Oracle Cloud) is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi language is required.

Salary Range: ₹750,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum
