Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to build a compelling future for the School of Government at MIT WPU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for academic programs, incorporating operational and financial goals.
  • Design high-quality curricula that meet global governance standards and ensure continuous review to maintain excellence.
  • Lead social initiatives, including NLC, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, and other programs, providing necessary inputs and research.
  • Plan and recruit high-calibre faculty, ensuring effective teaching, research, and consultancy activities.
  • Focus on faculty development, optimum resource utilization, and engagement with society to understand its changing needs.
  • Collaborate with alumni and participate in university activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track local, regional, and national legislative issues, develop strategies, and inform stakeholders through research and analysis.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Political Science/Public Policy/Law.
  • Minimum 15 years of academic leadership experience.
  • Age less than 50 years as of appointment date.
