People Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our People team as an intern.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the People function, including employee onboarding, HRIS management, employee exit processes, policy support, event coordination, compliance, and administration.

  • Employee Onboarding: Assist in preparing offer letters, induction materials, and first-day experiences.
  • HRIS Management: Support in maintaining accurate data on employee information.
  • Employee Exit: Help with offboarding formalities—ensuring a respectful and smooth transition.
  • Policy Support: Help draft, update, and communicate People policies.
  • Event & Engagement: Coordinate events and team activities.
  • Compliance & Admin: Assist in documentation and maintaining records.
  • Pulse Checks: Collect and summarize employee feedback.

Bonus points if you have hands-on experience in logistics, strong MS Excel/Google Sheets skills, or an interest in operations, business administration, or human resources.

Your first 3 months will focus on learning systems, shadowing onboarding tasks, owning data accuracy, and providing support for events. You'll also run onboarding end-to-end, manage ops independently, and provide insights for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support employee onboarding, including preparation of offer letters and induction materials.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and ensure seamless transitions for exiting employees.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and communicate People policies.
  • Coordinate events and team activities to foster engagement and connection among colleagues.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
