Financial Modeler Job Description

The role of a financial modeler involves the creation of comprehensive financial models to assess company performance. This includes analyzing historical financial statements, identifying key performance indicators, and conducting extensive company valuations.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled financial modeler with expertise in creating accurate financial models, particularly LBO models and DCF/relative valuations.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and financial analysis skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.

As a financial modeler, you will be responsible for developing detailed financial projections based on financial statements, management briefings, and estimates. You will also conduct extensive company valuations using various methods, including DCF, DDM, trading multiples, and EVA.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to assess company performance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models to support business decisions.
  • Conduct extensive company valuations using various methods.
  • Prepare detailed financial projections based on financial statements and management briefings.
Requirements:
  • CA/CFA with 4-6 years of experience in financial modeling.
  • Strong accounting, financial analysis, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
