**Job Title:** Billing Associate

Job Description:

A billing associate plays a crucial role in the financial operations of an organization, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

The primary responsibility of a billing associate is to generate and review invoices or bills for products or services provided by the organization. This involves verifying billing information, calculating charges, applying appropriate rates or fees, and ensuring compliance with billing policies and regulations.

Additional tasks may include data entry and documentation, invoice distribution and communication, payment processing, and billing analysis and reporting.

As a billing associate, you will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Billing Process: Proficiency in generating and reviewing invoices or bills, including verification of billing information, calculation of charges, and application of rates or fees.
  • Data Entry and Documentation: Accurate and efficient data entry into billing systems or software, with attention to correct coding, descriptions, quantities, and prices.
  • Invoice Distribution and Communication: Effective distribution of invoices to customers or clients, either electronically or via traditional mail.
  • Payment Processing: Timely processing of incoming payments from customers, with accuracy in payment amounts and proper allocation to customer accounts.
  • Billing Analysis and Reporting: Ability to analyze billing data, identify trends or patterns, and prepare reports on billing activities.
