Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Database Architect to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance database solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of mission-critical databases while mentoring junior professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance database architectures.
  • Defining and enforcing database standards and best practices.
  • Evaluating and implementing data modeling techniques to support business requirements.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining database systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Expertise in one or more RDBMS platforms (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases.
  • A deep understanding of data lifecycle management, including data modeling, normalization, and denormalization.
  • Proficiency in tools like SolarWinds, Prometheus, Nagios, SQL Profiler, OEM, or pgBadger.
  • Advanced scripting skills using Shell, Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
