Lead GenAI Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lead GenAI Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI Agent platforms, ensuring they are cost-efficient and aligned with our overall architectural vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Design the architecture of AI Agent platforms, focusing on cost-efficiency and alignment with our overall architectural vision.
  • Implement major and complex parts of the product, ensuring high standards of code quality through regular design and code reviews.
  • Take ownership of the delivery timeline and coordinate the complete development of products.
  • Own product releases, pre-plan, and scale infrastructure accordingly.
  • Communicate clear goals, provide constructive feedback, manage, coach, and support the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in architecting and scaling AI Agent platforms with measurable adoption.
  • Strong knowledge of RAG pipelines (retrieval optimization, reranking, chunking, knowledge graphs).
  • Deep experience with conversational AI systems and evaluation frameworks.
  • Track record of scaling services to 200K+ MAUs or equivalent scale.
  • 4+ years of engineering experience, with demonstrated leadership in technical decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in Node.js and modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js/React/Angular) is a plus.
