Backend Engineer - Conversational AI

Our system already resolves over 1M+ customer support tickets monthly for major enterprise customers across food delivery, crypto, and more. With multi-year contracts signed and rapid revenue traction, we are scaling our team to power the next trillion voice interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and scale the core backend infrastructure that powers our AI customer service agents
  • Write highly scalable, production-ready Python code (Django experience a plus)
  • Architect backend services and infra for massive enterprise-grade scale
  • Deploy and manage systems on AWS or GCP with a focus on speed and reliability
  • Collaborate directly with founders and engineers to influence architecture and direction
  • Take high ownership: drive projects from design to deployment in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep Python expertise (Django a plus)
  • Strong cloud skills (AWS or GCP), with familiarity in Kubernetes/Docker
  • Proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production
  • Prior startup experience or evidence of end-to-end ownership (founder, early team member, or shipped independent projects)
  • CS degree or equivalent professional foundation
  • Bonus: experience in high-velocity, high-ownership teams (startups, top-tier tech, or quant firms)
