Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of applications.
  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalability, high availability, and robust security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and incidents.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including regular system backups and recovery testing.
  • Enforce and maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including secure software deployment, vulnerability scanning, and patch management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices and tooling, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system availability and respond to incidents promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
  • Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and system administration best practices.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Experience with serverless technologies.
  • Experience with database administration.
