Retail Operations Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled retail operations expert to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, sales, and customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain store stability by adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce retail operational policies and procedures
  • Implement and maintain strategies for sales growth, cost control, shrinkage management, audit compliance, and talent development
  • Contribute to future strategic and operational development
  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate key responsibilities to ensure seamless retail operations

Sales Focus:

  • Increase sales and maximize profitability while reducing costs
  • Drive sales improvements through analysis and support
  • Propose measures to enhance operational performance
  • Review sales results against targets and budget regularly

Staff Management:

  • Ensure fulfillment of store operations requirements, including scheduling and task assignment
  • Assist in recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of staff
  • Counsel, discipline, and appraise staff to maintain high performance
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for staff
  • Communicate commercial information to all staff

Merchandise and Financial:

  • Formulate pricing strategies and review merchandise activities
  • Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotions, and display plans
  • Secure merchandise through effective security systems and measures
  • Maintain high international merchandise standards
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions

Customers:

  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for customers
  • Consider customer needs, shopping habits, and competitor activity
