Database Solutions Architect

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our database modernization efforts and ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available database solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and storage management.
  • Lead database capacity planning, disaster recovery strategy, and backup/restore processes.
  • Implement and enforce database security controls including encryption, access controls, and auditing.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support software releases and schema changes.

As a Database Solutions Architect, you will work closely with IT and business teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive growth and efficiency. We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team setting, and experience with automation scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based database platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of database design principles and database administration.
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Strong understanding of database security, backup, and restore procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
