Job Summary

We seek experienced individuals for the position of Title Examiner within our Production Services department. If you have 1-4 years of experience and expertise in Residential & Commercial Title Search processes, this is an ideal opportunity for you.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Sifting Recorded Documents: Carefully examine recorded trust deeds, contracts, and other legal documents that may impact property titles.
  • Illuminating Relevant Records: Locate tax records, judgments, liens, mortgages, and information related to bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Keep precise records of property title information gathered during the title search examination.
  • Investigating Conditions and Restrictions: Thoroughly research any conditions or restrictions that may exist on property titles.
  • Summarizing Legal Details: Summarize pertinent legal or insurance details for examination, proof, and ready reference by creating Title Commitments.
Requirements:
  • Detailed Understanding: Strong understanding of Title Insurance concepts such as Legal Description, Easements, CCR's, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Mortgages & related documents, Probate, etc.
  • Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in the Title Search process.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a regular US shift work environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in applications such as Qualia, State Capital, Netronline, Data Tree, Data Trace, MS Office, etc.
