As a building information modeling professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of BIM on various projects. Your primary responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to adhere to BIM implementation plans, including model submittal schedules and updates to reflect as-built conditions for submittal.
  • Deliver client BIM requirements for architectural and structural services, providing technical expertise and guidance where needed.
  • Perform quality assurance and control on Autodesk Revit models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive drawing packages that meet client specifications and expectations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in BIM levels of development (LOD) 300, with knowledge of LOD 400 and 500.
  • Coordinate and develop designs through BIM processes, such as 5D and 4D modeling.
  • Manage 3D models, review model quality, and ensure technical content meets industry standards, including clash detection and compliance with BIM execution plans.
  • Analyze models provided by architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to identify coordination and constructability issues.
  • Maintain expertise in parametric and non-parametric family creation, utilizing software tools like Autodesk Revit.
  • Participate in scan-to-BIM and PDF-to-CAD projects, applying knowledge of data processing and conversion techniques.
