This senior role demands a deep understanding of storage architectures and integrations in complex enterprise environments.The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on storage expertise across multiple technologies and vendors, designing, integrating, and optimizing storage solutions for our customers' evolving needs.This position collaborates closely with our pre-sales engineers to provide deep technical counsel on storage-related topics and creates comprehensive best practice documentation and knowledge base articles for both internal and external audiences.In this capacity, you will:
  • Offer authoritative guidance to our systems integration team on deploying Private Cloud Director with various storage backends.
  • Closely collaborate with engineering teams to inform design decisions and troubleshoot complex storage-related issues.
  • Advise pre-sales engineers during customer solution design, proof-of-concept deployments, and RFP responses on optimal storage approaches.
The core competencies required for this position include strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams, passion for technology, continuous learning, and mentoring peers, as well as exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Solutions Engineer with 15+ years of enterprise storage expertise, hands-on experience across multiple vendor ecosystems and technologies, and a deep understanding of storage protocols and architectures, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and S3.The ideal candidate will also have the ability to troubleshoot complex storage performance and connectivity issues across multi-vendor environments, strong understanding of VMware environments, including vSphere and storage connectivity options, and experience developing automation scripts or tools for storage provisioning and integration (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.).We value professionals with proven experience in system integration projects involving storage systems, familiarity with Kubernetes persistent storage concepts, experience authoring technical whitepapers or reference architectures, and relevant vendor certifications (e.g., NetApp NCIE, EMC Proven Professional, HPE ASE, Pure Storage, VMware VCAP-DCA, Red Hat OpenStack).
