Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying applications that meet and exceed performance and availability expectations. You will work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts and tools that are complex in nature and require extensive experience.

You will:

  • Design and develop high-quality software that adds value to the business
  • Work with permanent teams responsible for the full life cycle of software development, from initial development to maintenance and decommissioning
  • Collaborate to optimize our software engineering capability
  • Design, produce, test and implement working code
  • Work across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment and operations
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need a background in working with applications built for environment monitoring, release scope management and automation between code repositories and testing services. You will have an impact on the lifecycle of these landscape applications and help shape the direction our services will take in the future.

You will need experience in using implementation languages like Java and C# as load and stress testing tools. Prior experience in Avaloq Banking System is preferred.

You will also need:

  • Experience in enhancing and maintaining release scope management applications and environment monitoring tools
  • Enhancement and maintenance of performance testing applications, including execution of tests
  • Collaboration with 3rd Party Providers or Suppliers
  • Supporting the development and designing the future roadmap of tools
  • Experience in implementing programming best practices, especially around scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability and performance
