Job Summary

The Data Analytics Specialist will play a crucial role in the migration of enterprise data solutions from SAP HANA to Snowflake. This position requires expertise in data analytics platforms, particularly SAP HANA and Snowflake.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document analytics and reporting requirements.
  2. Analyze and conduct feasibility studies to determine the technical viability of the requirements.
  3. Work with the capabilities team to identify source systems, source data sets, and source tables needed to fulfill the requirements.
  4. Convert functional requirements into technical solutions.
  5. Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional design documents in collaboration with data modelers and data engineers.
  6. Perform unit testing of the solution.
  7. Support business teams for completion of user acceptance testing.
  8. Facilitate communication between business and IT.
  9. Support deployment of technical solutions to production.
  10. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain business processes.
  • Experience working on analytics-related projects and implementations.
  • Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts, including HANA modeling.
  • Ability to identify relationships between data sets.
  • Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis/troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
