Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT/IGW, Route 53, WAF, etc., as well as experience with Terraform and CloudFormation. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub/Bitbucket and working with tools like ServiceNow, Jira
  • Optimizing cloud costs using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer & tagging strategies
  • Maintaining RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
  • Configuring IAM roles, policies, and user groups

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of AWS services and features
  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Proficient in configuring IAM roles, policies, and user groups
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
